Coney Island Pier

Coney Island, Pier
I have processed this image several times and even posted it once but was never satisfied with the final outcome - was looking for a bit more ambient color to give the effect of waves rolling over the rocks. This morning it was Snapseed Structure that finally made it work for me. That and oversaturating in Filterstorm then brushing in the result locally.

Learn something new, go back and re-process - you never know what will happen.

The original image was made with ProHDR, Filterstorm, Dynamic Light, Rays and Photoforge.

Mermaid Parade 2011

Just got back from the parade and thought I would do a quick post of a Hipstamatic Image from the festivities. This film and camera combo is very good for portrait work.....even at close range like the image above....

Look for more images later today or tomorrow on my website, http://harrysandler.com and/or my iphone blog, http://iPhone-Antics.blogspot.com.

Carousel Redoux

Still playing around with blending option and textures.

This time Paintmee was used for the initial blending
The original was a Noir image - very much blue-black (pre-sharpened in Photoforge)
both were blended in Iris
the horses were painted back from the Paintmee Original
Sharpening and local tonality in Filterstorm

Coney Island

Coney Island Pier

Could not have asked for a better day at Coney Island today. Mist and fog rolling off the water most of the day.....and Nathan's Hot Dogs did not disappoint...

Image above captured with ProHDR (hand held)
Autopainter
Filterstorm
Photoforge for sharpening
Iris for grunge and blending
